Day 1 Arrival Day
Day 2 -Mount Meru Climb – Arusha National Park (Momela Gate to Miriakamba Hut)
After breakfast, drive to Arusha National Park and begin your Mount Meru trek at Momela Gate. Hike through lush forests, spotting wildlife such as giraffes and buffalo along the way. Reach Miriakamba Hut (2,514m), where you will spend the night..
Day 3 - Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut
Ascend further from Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut (3,570m). This day’s hike offers breathtaking views of the Meru Crater and the dramatic cliffs of the mountain. In the afternoon, take an optional hike to Little Meru (3,820m) to acclimatize and enjoy the panoramic vistas.
Day 4 - Summit Day – Saddle Hut to Socialist Peak to Momela Gate and Return to Hotel
Start early for the final ascent to the summit of Mount Meru (4,566m) and witness a spectacular sunrise over Kilimanjaro. After reaching Socialist Peak, descend back to Saddle Hut for a break, then continue to Miriakamba Hut and finally to Momela Gate. Return to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.
Day 5 -Tarangire National Park Game Drive
Drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park, where you might spot lions, leopards, and a variety of bird species. Overnight at a lodge or tented camp near the park.
Day 6 - Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
