Day 1 Arrival in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania
Day 2 -Kilimanjaro – Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Begin your ascent via the Machame Route. The trek starts in the rainforest and ascends to Machame Camp at 2,835m. Enjoy stunning views and the start of your Kilimanjaro experience..
Day 3 - Machame Camp to Shira Camp
Today’s hike takes you to Shira Camp at 3,750m. The trail offers a change in scenery, passing through moorland and ending with breathtaking views of the Shira Plateau.
Day 4 - Shira Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
A challenging yet rewarding day as you climb to the Lava Tower at 4,600m before descending to Barranco Camp at 3,960m. This day is crucial for acclimatization.
Day 5 -Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Scale the Barranco Wall, a highlight of the route. Continue to Karanga Camp, set at 4,035m. You’ll enjoy magnificent vistas throughout the day.
Day 6 - Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Day 7 -Barafu to Uhuru Peak, then Descend to Mweka Camp
Day 8 -Mweka Camp to Moshi Town
Finish your trek with a descent through the forest to Mweka Gate. Return to Moshi for a well-deserved rest at your hotel.
