Tour Itinerary

Day 0 - Arrival in Moshi or Arusha

You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and transferred to Arusha at your arranged hotel. You will meet your driver guide who will brief you on your upcoming safaris, then rest until the next day morning.

Day 1 - Arusha to Tarangire National Park.
To start off you have the option of choosing between a trip to Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara National Park. The two Northern circuit delights offer different experiences at different times of the year. Consult your guide for the best option to visit.
Tarangire National Park
Once you’ve entered Tarangire, you’ll begin your game drive across a rich vista of endless golden savannah that surrounds the Tarangire River. The perennial river is a vital source of water for the animals of the region during the dry season and a setting of some riveting game viewing. The river encrusted with acacia and Baobab trees acts as a watering hole for the park’s large elephant population as well as other herbivores such as zebras and antelopes. A picnic lunch with a view of the river is a great way to take it all in, but you’ll have to keep on your toes as the local monkey population does its best to separate you from your lunch! Driving through the park you’ll also have the opportunity to see lions, leopards, cape buffalo, and a huge variety of antelopes. If you’re particularly lucky, you might even see endangered animals such as the Greater Kudu or the Fringe-Eared Oryx. After your day’s drive is done, you’ll retire to your accommodation for the evening.
Day 2 Tarangire National Park-Serengeti National park

Oldupai Gorge Museum: Know more about the evolution of humans by taking a visit to the Oldupai Gorge Museum which commemorates some of the oldest evidence of human habitation ever found. Renowned as the Cradle of Mankind, the stark but stunning prehistoric site of the gorge country is famed for ancient human and elephant fossils, tools excavations.
Maasai boma visit: Pay a visit to one of the famous Maasai bomas, where you’ll have the opportunity to witness (and participate in) traditional Maasai dance, tour an authentic Maasai village, and even do a little souvenir shopping at the local market
Both of the above activities attract an additional cost. Speak with your safari expert about adding them to your itinerary.
After a delicious lunch at the Serengeti National Park picnic area, it’s time to explore the Serengeti itself. Witness Africa’s iconic savannah landscape and be amazed by the sheer number of animals that roam these grassy plains. Dinner and overnight in the heart of the Serengeti National Park according to the standard and the type of accommodation requested from our options. .

Day 3 - Serengeti National park

We start your day early by getting up before dawn to embark on a sunrise game drive. Accompanied by the melodic singing of the birds, you’ll spend your morning searching for leopards and lions hunting for their morning meal and spying the contrastingly calm hippos returning to their watery homes with their families.
At approximately 9 am, we will return to your accommodation for a late and leisurely breakfast before continuing the game drive at 10.30. Your driver will select the best possible route based upon the time of year and the kind of animals you’d like to see, catering your day so that your opportunities to see the Serengeti’s diverse wildlife are maximized.
Your dinner and overnight accommodation will be as per your selected options from the available offerings; right in the heart of the Serengeti National Park. Breakfast; Lunch; Dinner

Day 4 Serengeti - Ngorongoro crater
After breakfast, we get right on the road back towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Our drive takes us back through the Serengeti via a different route, offering plenty of opportunities to spot the animals that eluded you on day two. Panning out your vision on the seemingly never-ending treeless plains you can easily view an abundance of hoofed animals ranging from wildebeests and zebras migrating together, antelopes, African buffaloes, black rhinos, hyenas and gazelles. It is also the premier predator destination with the largest population of lions in Africa. You can spot lean cheetahs and the shy leopards resting in the kigelia or acacia trees. The remote landscape of northern Serengeti is dominated by open woodlands hills and the best place to find elephants, giraffes, and dik-dik. Dinner and overnight on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater or in nearby Karatu Town according to the standard and the type of accommodation requested from our options.
Day 5 -Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Eyasi

After a hearty breakfast, you will head to the UNESCO heritage site of Ngorongoro Crater, which has also earned recognition the Eighth Wonder of the World. The crater is the world’s largest intact caldera with a floor span of 260sq.km. and the first glimpses of the fascinating natural vistas will convince you why it is the prime tourist attraction in Tanzania. Ngorongoro Crater is part of the 8300 sq. km. Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is a biosphere reserve in a state of constant geological flux. Encompassing lush highlands, savannahs, woodlands, lakes, volcanic calderas, and forests, the conservation area is rich in wildlife and is the sanctuary of over 120 species of mammal including the fabled Big Five. It is also the place for viewing the endangered black rhinoceros grazing on the plains and hippos cooling their hind in water.
You can soak in the breathtaking views from the safe environs of your comfortable safari vehicles with pop – up roofs and capture some of the prized wildlife of Africa. Nearly 30,000 animals call the crater home with predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, sharing space with a large population of wildebeest, zebras, antelope, Cape buffalo, and more. After the thrills and excitement of the day, you will have a picnic lunch in the park. Thereafter we will make our way to Lake Eyasi to overnight.
.

Day 6 -Lake Eyasi-Arusha
The indigenous Hadzabe hunter-gatherers are a fascinating tribe with an ancestry dating back to nearly 10,000 years. Known as the original bushman of Tanzania, they are now facing extinction with only 2000 of them left today. You will get a demonstration of the hunting techniques and get insights into how their daily life is and how their primitive traditions and hunting techniques continue to endure and helps sustain and feed them. You will also learn how the Hadzabe uses distinctive motions and even the body parts of certain animals to lure their quarry close before bringing them down with poison-tipped arrows. You can also pay a visit to the people of the Datoga tribe while you’re in the area. The Datoga are farmers who keep animals such as cows, sheep, and goats. Their culture is another fascinating example of Tanzania’s cultural diversity.
After a late breakfast at the lodge, you’ll continue on to Arusha
